The Stage4Beverley festival launches across the weekend of February 17-19 and will be one of the first major City of Culture events in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Based at the East Riding Theatre in Beverley, the festival will showcase music from folk to jazz, classical to world music and Americana to Blues.

The Stage4Beverley festival will feature 6 concerts which will take place at the East Riding Theatre along with events and workshops which will take place at the theatre's clubroom and cafe bar.

The diverse range of artists confirmed so far include Scottish singer-songwriter Dougie MacLean, the New York Brass Band, BBC Folk Award winners Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar, acapella group Coope, Boyes and Simpson, the gypsy jazz Tcha Limberger Trio with Mozes Rosenberg and performance poet and comedian John Hegley.
