Charles III starte A BBC TV drama based on what may happen if Prince Charles succeeds the Queen has started filming at Beverley Minster. This is the second time this year that Beverley Minster has doubled up as Westminster Abbey after the Beverley landmark was used to film the ITV drama Victoria.

Charles III started life as at the theatre and won the 2015 Olivier Award for Best New Play. The Independent called it a "bracingly provocative and outrageously entertaining new play" and it explores the people underneath the crowns, the unwritten rules of our democracy, and the conscience of Britain's most famous family.

King Charles III is expected to be on our screens in 2017 as a one off drama for BBC 2.
